WORK PERMIT & IMMIGRATION

EDO prepares, submits and handles all relevant documents and payment processes to obtain timely work permits for expatriates involved in all operations in Guyana. This is a prerequisite if you are to be employed in Guyana.

EXPATRIATE MANAGEMENT (Family Relocations)

At EDO, we understand that the most unsettling and common factors in new country assignments are family concerns, spouse relocation and ability to adapt. Family members, as well, may have a hard time adjusting to a different school curriculum or finding activities that meet their interests. MEET & GREET AGENT

EDO representatives are ready to render these services at both international airports as well as port facilities in Guyana, to assist through immigration and customs, and to ensure a safe check in at your hotel or port facilities/heliport. Our management team has over the years developed an excellent relationship with all new and major hotels in the country, and will be able to continue arranging special corporate and group rates.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY SUPPORT

Our HSE Department has an on-call team always ready to render and respond to medical emergencies. EDO representatives will coordinate transport and hospital arrangements or the required medical care as needed in such cases. Our team consists of accredited in Health & Safety and offshore survival training which empowers us to support your HSE objectives and encourage a culture of safety among your team.

PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS

EDO sources and coordinates delivery of high-quality materials and services required for all onshore/offshore operations and projects. Our supply chain management team, which includes sourcing, logistics, and contracting specialists, works to ensure the highest standards of ethical conduct are maintained in all their operations.

The Logistics team at EDO manages from your shore base operations to the shipment of all materials. This includes ensuring proper control of the materials (including food boxes/catering supplies) to the point of embarkation, negotiating shipping contracts, negotiating freight rates, operating the cargo terminal, and overseeing compliance with all port regulations.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Clients/crews arriving to the Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana have a variety of transfer and transportation options available to them. This includes taxis, private or VIP cars/suvs, crew buses/shuttles and courtesy vans. Services can take you to your nearby or downtown hotel or wherever your local travel takes you to in the surrounding area. Services are even available to out of town areas for recreation.

TRAINING & MEDICAL SUPPORT

EDO has established and built relationships with the approved Marine/OGUK Certified Doctors as well as OPITO certified training providers in Trinidad and can coordinate any requested onshore/offshore training for our clients. Our training partners offer a wide range of courses for oil & gas, maritime and industrial operators. The comprehensive range of courses includes crisis management, contingency planning, health & safety, firefighting and medical & first aid training.
